Bloggers, chill out

CNET: OK so it looks like the Federal Election Commission isn’t now cracking down on blogging and email, according to Ellen Weintraub, commissioner for the FEC.

…we’re not the speech police. We don’t tell private
citizens what they can or cannot say, on the Internet or anywhere else.
The FEC regulates campaign finance. There’s got to be some money
involved, or it’s out of our jurisdiction.

In fact, the real crack down on bloggers is coming from Apple which seems to be making headway in its suit against ThinkSecret, Apple Insider and PowerPage.
