Yeah, I know – who isn’t? But I thought you might know someone who is looking for a change. If not – no problems, just thought I’d ask.
I’m looking for account staff in San Francisco, Boston, Washington DC, San Diego, New York and Los Angeles. Most of these are entry-level account coordinator, account executive and senior account executive positions. I’m also looking for a former journalist in SF to help with copy writing, media training and general media anarchy.
There are also several commercial positions I’m looking for, specifically someone to work with me and the new business team in sales and marketing. This might be someone with a PR background who enjoys new biz and wants a more commercial role – not everyone is suited to an account management line role but wants to use their PR skills. I’ve got a couple of these positions – in Boston and SF.
In addition, now that we have our new SF offices and a reception desk – I need a receptionist. Plus I’m looking for a finance controller to count the beans. This person has got to enjoy working with PR-types and not mind being called ‘The Spod’ among other things. Hmm not selling that one, but I actually think it’s a pretty good in-house accountancy job. PR isn’t complex financially but when you start operating internationally and growing quickly, it soon gets interesting.
I’m also looking for some GM positions to help with our office roll out. Those are more for people who want to run their own office to use their entrepreneurial skill, but perhaps want the support of a network to add credibility, reach and the commercial functions (as well as a predictable salary).
